For the past 34 years, Bailey House has been the leader in addressing poverty, homelessness and access to healthcare among people living with HIV/AIDS. Acting upon the principle that housing is a human right, in 1983 Bailey House became the first provider of housing and critical services for those in need of a home. Today, armed with the knowledge that permanent housing is a proven structural intervention that improves access to healthcare while reducing the spread of HIV, Bailey House’s mission is to transform the lives of people living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses through housing, health services and community support.
